GMAT is the standardized exam that forms the first requirement to get into most of the business school all across the globe for all the aspirants. Full form of GMAT, which stands for Graduate Management Admission Test is conducted by GMAC acronym for Graduate Management Admission Council. The detail about the exam could also be found in one of our previous article here.
Registration for GMAT happens round the year as candidates can appear for the exam throughout the year. There are two important points noteworthy here. The timing of the exam should be planned to cater to admission cycle. Most business schools start their admission process by mid-September. So normally it is better to appear for GMAT before that so that applicant can focus entirely on the admission. Although admission process is divided into different rounds, for international students it is always beneficial to apply in earlier rounds to enhance their chances of scholarships. Another thing to note is that a candidate can appear for the exam for a maximum of 5 times in a calendar year and can take the exam only after 16 days of their previous attempt.
