Upon enrolling in my initial computer programming course, I was captivated by the novelty of the subject matter. However, I grappled with discerning the practical applications of what I could create with it. Nevertheless, I possessed the aptitude to grasp complex algorithms and construct programs effortlessly. During my high school years, a friend introduced me to my first experience in evaluating a machine learning code. What started as a casual interest soon evolved into the focal point of my final semester undergraduate project. This endeavor involved delving into the implementation of machine learning to enhance the efficiency of route planning for prominent hyperlocal delivery companies. I discovered that their reliance on fixed delivery routes was hindering any potential for true optimization, despite being a widely advocated approach. While I found a genuine passion for this field, I knew that I wanted to delve deeper and broaden my horizons. It wasn’t enough for me to focus solely on this pursuit; I was compelled to expand my knowledge, engage in research, and generate fresh ideas and theories.

During my senior year in college, my interest in research took a significant leap forward. I embarked on two distinct research projects under the guidance of separate advisors. One of these projects delved into the application of AI techniques in optimizing supply chain operations. In my role as a research assistant, I established an extensive database for end play and immersed myself in a wealth of information related to supply chain optimization. Given my longstanding engagement with this subject, the project held immense fascination for me, ultimately deepening my sense of fulfillment and passion for the work.The inspiration for the second project struck me after reading a paper titled “Machine Learning Services Neighboring Nodes” by Dr. T. Norman. It dawned on me that by generalizing the results and developing an open framework, I could not only expedite my own progress but also facilitate the work of my colleagues. After careful consideration of various frameworks, I focused on devising an algorithm to govern multiple nodes in a meshed delivery setup. This endeavor culminated in the creation of my inaugural paper, “Neighboring Nodes in a Meshed Delivery Network,” which garnered acceptance by the esteemed International Society of Science and Engineering and was subsequently published in its journal ISSE 314.4.

Subsequently, I engaged in numerous discussions with fellow researchers, professors, and authors of other papers, each presenting intriguing new challenges. These conversations illuminated the vast expanse of knowledge awaiting exploration and emphasized the importance of collaboration in formulating ideas and drawing conclusions from others’ perspectives. It became evident that my research experience, while valuable, was relatively limited in comparison to my peers, all of whom had either completed or were in the process of completing their master’s degrees. Despite this, I maintained confidence in my instincts. From that point on, I nurtured a growing desire to expand my expertise through relevant and practical master’s courses. This aspiration has since served as a guiding force in my academic journey
