WHICH SAT TEST YOU SHOULD TAKE?

SAT EXAM PATTERN

The SAT exam is majorly divided into 2 parts:

Evidence-based Reading and Writing (EBRW)

MATHS

This section is particularly divided into 2 segments. In one segment you are allowed to make the use of a calculator, whereas in the other you are restricted from using it. Most of the questions of this section are MCQs however for some questions are required to be solved and their answers are to be filled in the Bubble sheet.

The scores of both the exams- EBRW and Math range from 200-800. The test also comprises an additional section of the Essay but for the Essay section, you get extra time of 50 Minutes and its score range is from 2 to 8. This is an optional section. This doesn’t mean that the Essay section is unnecessary. Some colleges specifically ask for the Essay scores as well.

 

SAT EXAM 2020- DURATION

 

This exam is conducted for 3 hours (without the written essay) and 3 hours and 50 minutes (with the written essay).

The time limit to attempt the EBRW section is 100 minutes, and that of Maths is 80 minutes.
